York County is First to Join the VA Oyster Trail’s Community Program | Visit Yorktown VA

If you are looking for an adventure unlike any other in Virginia, then it's time to pay Yorktown a visit.

York County VA has become the first community to join The Virginia’s Oyster Trail newest program, offering an exciting opportunity for oyster-related businesses and waterfront areas to shine. The Virginia Oyster Trail (VOT) Communities Program can be initiated by a passionate resident, a committed business owner or locality staff, who works to rally like-minded businesses to join the Trail. The more businesses that commit, the lower the rate per member, and the greater the advantage for the community. With VOT staff and representatives working alongside the Virginia Tourism, the program brings attention to the community's cultural, ecological, and culinary significance. It's an exciting time for Yorktown, and with the VOT program now in full swing, it's an adventure you won't want to miss.
