Find the Artist in You

We carry beautiful oyster jewelry made by local artist Jacquie Colligan. Working with molds cast from native Chesapeake Bay oysters, Jacquie crafts each delicate oyster from precious metal clay. She specializes in pendants and rings.

Gorgeous oyster trays to grace your table, by Sue Henshaw, make a dynamic addition to your table and make great gifts.

At the Bay School Community Arts Center, we strive to Find the Artist in You through our gallery, our art classes, our outreach programs, and our pottery studio.

We offer over 100 specialized art classes each year, to children and adults, in a wide variety of media, for all skill levels.

Our arts outreach programs provide art-making experiences to 17 groups of individuals who have limited access to the arts.

As home to the newly formed Clay by the Bay potters’ guild, you are likely to find happy potters at work in our studio when you drop by.

Whether you enjoy making art or just like to take it in, there is something for you at the Bay School.
