We are a husband and wife team raising oysters in the Rappahannock River. Taryn’s family (Topping) has been on the Rappahannock for over 100 years and have had oyster leases as far back as 1901. We began our farm in 2017 as a way to get back to our family’s roots on the Rappahannock, but also because oyster farming is a sustainable business that actually benefits the environment. We offer our oysters for direct sale out of the Greenvale Marina, and also sell both wholesale and direct to restaurants. If you are interested, just give us a call! We only harvest to order, so please call a few days prior to when you’d like to receive your oysters so we can schedule the harvest and make sure your oysters are as fresh as possible.
